My passion is making my clients happy and exceeding their expectations. Having great hair isn't just about a regular visit to a salon. It's about you, your lifestyle, your vibe. I'll take the care to understand your vision and why you came to see me in the first place. By learning more about you, your individuality, and your home hair regime, we can create the look that you'll love and feel like the beautiful human you are. I'll help you understand how to recreate it so you look and feel fab between your Jomi visits.

For 25-plus years, I've been involved in the hair industry as a stylist, salon owner, and six of those years traveling the country as a trainer and representative for Kérastase. I took a few years out just to have a break and try another industry and see if the grass was greener. I missed the industry badly so I'm back, and have used all my years of knowledge and experience to create a gorgeous sustainable Davines salon for both clients and stylists.

I'm privileged to have been asked to join the Davines team as their NaturalTech ambassador, traveling around our gorgeous country to train and excite other amazing stylists...more news to come on this!

Creative Stylist

Hey there! I’m Hannah, I’ve traded the sunny Marlborough region for city life to pursue my passion for hairstyling and am excited to join the team at Jomi as a qualified stylist.

Building strong connections with my clients whilst creating a comfortable atmosphere where you can feel totally at ease is very important to me. I enjoy collaborating with you to create timeless styles that include lived-in colours as well as modern cuts that enhance your look, leaving you feeling more confident and like your best self.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me enjoying country music, watching a game of footy, shopping, and staying active.

Emerging Stylist

Hi! I’m Summer, I'm a third year apprentice. Last year I competed in the NZ Hair, Barbering and Beauty Industry Awards, placing in top three for Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year.

My favorite part of this journey is the creative side of hair, from crafting effortless, natural styles to beautiful hair ups for special occasions. I believe great hair is all about making it fit your unique lifestyle. I’m here to listen, understand your vision, and work together to bring it to life.

With a strong foundation built over three years of hands-on experience and a drive to continually learn and grow, I am thrilled to be part of a team that values creativity and excellence.

I’m excited to be part of the Jomi team and to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to making every client feel fabulous!

Salon Apprentice

Kia ora e hoa! I'm super excited to be a part of this team and get the chance to support them while learning the technical stuff along the way.

I'm someone heart-set on connecting and creating an experience that leaves you feeling like you have a second home here at Jomi. You deserve to look and feel amazing inside and out, no matter what that looks like for you, full stop!

What you can expect from me is an obsessive love for curls and scalp/hair treatments. Known mainly for my tension releasing massage technique, but I am also available for permanent colour services, clinical scalp diagnosis and any of your home hair care questions.
